We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team. The location for this role is in HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL. This job offers a contract employment opportunity till the end of the year. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll be expected to manage a number of tasks related to account reconciliation, data entry, and invoice processing.
JD Edwards software is a must!!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and other financial documents
- Use JD Edwards software for data entry and invoice processing
- Conduct check runs and ensure they align with company policies and procedures
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation; handle administrative tasks as needed
- Perform account reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Effectively code invoices, ensuring they align with the correct cost centers and general ledger accounts
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk is required.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
- Applicants should have experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
- Must be skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards is required!
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is required.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work is expected.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask is necessary.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
