We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for an Early Childhood Education Operations Manager in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves overseeing administrative functions for the opening of a new site, serving as the primary point of contact, and ensuring the smooth running of operations. The role will encompass tasks beyond the traditional job description and requires the ability to adapt and multitask.

Responsibilities:

- Serving as the main point of contact for the new site

- Handling all administrative functions including email communication, planning, and scheduling meetings and events

- Ensuring staff are adhering to the educational curriculum with students

- Managing staff schedules and coordinating resources effectively

- Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook, to maintain organization and efficiency

- Overseeing billing functions and providing excellent customer service

- Implementing and managing scheduling management systems

- Working closely with the teaching staff to ensure the efficient running of the site

- Demonstrating knowledge in early childhood education to support staff and curriculum planning

Requirements

- Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field required

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

- Experience with billing functions and related administrative tasks

- Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally

- Knowledge in early childhood education is a plus

- Ability to manage staff scheduling and related administrative tasks

- Experience in scheduling management and coordination

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals

- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional tasks as required.
