Are you a dynamic individual passionate about customer service and have a knack for detail-oriented tasks? We are looking for a Customer Support and Order Management Specialist who can seamlessly handle a variety of responsibilities, from answering calls to managing shipping documentation, all while ensuring top-notch service quality and adherence to safety protocols. A client of Robert Half is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Customer Support and Order Management Specialist to be the cornerstone of their customer service team. Onsite in Minooka, IL

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction & Order Processing:

+ Manage incoming customer calls with professionalism and courtesy, addressing inquiries related to orders, products, and issues.

+ Efficiently enter orders and related data into our ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

+ Prepare and distribute production orders and documentation to ensure smooth workflow.

Documentation & Reporting:

+ Create and manage outbound shipping documentation, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete.

+ Prepare orders for invoicing, segregate delivery paperwork, and provide necessary post-delivery information to customers.

+ Update and maintain price books regularly.

+ Generate monthly pricing for selected accounts and compile monthly sales reports.

Sales Support:

+ Assist the sales team with various tasks such as price adjustments, memo preparation, quotes, and report generation.

+ Maintain and update contact records and related data in our Contact Record Management software (Deacom).

Logistics Coordination:

+ Coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and customer requirements.

General Duties:

+ Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the team

Quality:

+ Foster employee commitment to company policy goals and encourage participation in quality improvement initiatives.

+ Ensure compliance with documented Quality System procedures.

+ Leverage creativity and imagination to enhance product quality and meet customer expectations.

Requirements – Must have at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role

- Proficiency in customer service is required

- Demonstrated skill in data entry is necessary

- Experience with order entry is a must

- Knowledge of logistics is required

- Ability to provide customer quotes accurately and efficiently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Proficiency in using computer software and online systems

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
