Job Description

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Office Manager role in Mettawa, Illinois. This role primarily revolves around the function of a Credit Clerk in the telecom provider industry. As part of this role, the individual will play a pivotal role in processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving inquiries related to customer credit. The individual will also monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

- Maintain precise records of customer credit

- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to credit

- Monitor customer credit accounts

- Take necessary actions to collect overdue payments

- Utilize basic office skills to manage and organize relevant documents and data

- Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and promptly

- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of credit-related tasks

- Stay updated about industry trends and changes in credit processing procedures

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to customer credit processing Requirements – Demonstrated proficiency in basic office skills such as filing, typing, handling phone calls, and email management.

- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

- Proven experience in office management or a similar role.

- Proficiency in using office management software, including MS Office Suite and email tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

- Demonstrated ability to manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

- Proactive attitude and ability to identify and implement improvements in office procedures.

- Experience in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.

- Ability to handle and resolve office-related issues and queries promptly.

- Familiarity with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business administration or related field is a plus.
