Robert Half is partnering with a highly esteemed law firm downtown Chicago who is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney. This position offers hybrid flexibility with the team typically being in office Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

+ Independently manage caseloads involving civil litigation matters from initiation to conclusion

+ Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on various legal projects

+ Represent clients in a diverse range of litigation matters

+ Handle court appearances and conduct depositions and trials as required

+ Maintain regular communication with clients and provide status updates

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience (construction law and insurance defense experience preferred, labor and employment law experience a plus)

+ Admitted to practice in the state of Illinois. Dual licenses in Wisconsin, Missouri and/or Indiana a plus!

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
