Job Summary:

In this role as a Senior Manager Procurement Solutions, you will be responsible for a small team of individual contributors who will maintain and improve direct procurement processes supported via PROcure. PROcure is a multi-year program that will reshape how our direct material buyers, category managers, and other functional support resources manage processes, collaborate, create insights, and drive business value – all in one fully integrated system built on a strategic data platform.

You will also work closely with Business Process Owners for future PROcure modules including Supplier Performance Management (SPM), Supplier Warranty, Should Cost Modelling, and Intelligent Category Management (ICM) who are in other organizations but still an integral part of the PROcure suite of solutions. For these modules, you will support these Business Process Owners on effectively writing requirements and acceptance criteria, using DevOps for requirement tracking and testing, creating robust change plans, and overall ensuring they understand existing standard processes to drive a consistently exceptional experience during implementation and post-go live.

What You Will Do:

Lead Business Process Owners for select modules (role will grow over time) :

Lead business process owners to support ongoing operations and key improvements for individual PROcure modules

Create a support plan to continue to drive end-user adoption and ongoing usage of the tools implemented.

Ensure robust change management plans for communication, learning/training, and reinforcement effectively drive process adoption for future process improvements.

Work directly with a wide range of procurement professionals, enterprise representatives, Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) team members, and suppliers including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.

PROcure Cross-Module Interactions :

Be the dotted line manager for Business Process Owners for future PROcure modules including Supplier Performance Management (SPM), Supplier Warranty, Should Cost Modelling, and Intelligent Category Management (ICM) who are in other organizations but still an integral part of the PROcure suite of solutions.

Identify cross-module interactions and implement solutions to collectively drive more value by sharing data and/or providing a consistent user experience throughout the PROcure platform.

This role will initially have 1-3 direct reports and dotted line leadership of ~6-15 additional Caterpillar and partner (Accenture, Procurement Services Center) resources.

Education Requirement:

- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require up to 10% travel.
