Job Summary:

In this role as a Senior Manager Procurement Solutions, you will be responsible for a team of individual contributors who will collectively transform the direct procurement processes for sourcing and cost-impact projects, including changing the way Caterpillar approves cost increases and creates cost change estimates via PROcure. PROcure is a multi-year program that will reshape how our direct material buyers, category managers, and other functional support resources manage processes, collaborate, create insights, and drive business value – all in one fully integrated system built on a strategic data platform.

You and your team will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities to provide business solutions that are globally effective and applicable. As a member of the Digital Supply team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. What You Will Do:

- Lead a team of 6+ business process owners enabling the direct material procurement source to contract transformation via the PROcure Spend Analytics, Sourcing, Projects, and Should Cost Model modules, including cost impact reporting.

- Create and deliver robust functionality and supporting change management plans including clear and concise communications and effective global training.

- Create and sustain a support plan to drive end-user adoption and ongoing usage of the tools implemented.

- Own the quality of designed and configured modules to ensure successful deployment.

- Collaborate with and deploy changes to impacted category and business resources teams.

- Work directly with a wide range of procurement professionals, enterprise representatives, Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) team members, and suppliers including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.

- Collect and take action on voice of the customer information to create new or enhanced service offerings.

Education Requirement:

- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

- Works with various complex procurement programs and activities in the organization.

- Improves processes to maximize procurement’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
