WITHIN YOUR TEAM

The Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager, Procurement and will be responsible for the management and execution of assigned projects to reduce the total cost of ownership of equipment in support of the corporate annual cost improvement goals. This objective will be realized through productivity improvements utilizing VAVE tools and strategic cost management processes. The success of this position will be contingent on working with cross-functional and regional teams in the prioritization and execution of identified cost improvement opportunities.

THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Contribute in a meaningful way to Videojet’s bottom line by executing Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) projects to achieve total cost improvement goals.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

+ Own overall project management for VAVE projects including development and execution of action plans and tracking of projects using daily visual management boards

+ Ensure engagement of cross-functional and regional teams’ participation in the VAVE process (including R&D, Product Management, Technical Support, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance)

+ Lead internal and supplier VAVE workshops to identify cost savings opportunities and eliminate waste through the entire value stream by using the VAVE process

+ Develop and implement Should-Cost models

+ Conduct product teardowns and benchmark analysis of competitive products

+ Work closely with ‘Preferred’ suppliers to understand their manufacturing capabilities and processes to identify cost savings opportunities

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

+ 5 + years experience in an industrial/supply chain environment.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain/Project Management.

+ Experience and exposure in Design for Manufacturing and Should Cost tools.

+ History of success with delivering cost improvement projects.

+ Has worked on total cost of ownership models.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $105,000 – $110,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
