The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Development professional to join our North America, Select-Service Development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the broader Development team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. This position will be responsible for assisting our development team in driving the growth of Hyatt’s Select-Service brands [Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Caption by Hyatt and Hyatt’s new upper-midscale extended-stay brand, Hyatt Studios] in a particular territory. The Role

The Manager, Franchise Sales and Development needs to have a wide and varied skill base. It will be imperative that they have an understanding of the hotel industry and franchise sales and development along with the ability to develop relationships.

· Analyze lead data from a variety of sources to assist the team in sourcing and qualifying potential leads for active pursuit.

· Analyze market data to help identify potential areas of development focus.

· Assist in keeping the regional pipeline updated and current in our database.

· Support Developers in preparation of documents for deal approval through Development Committee or Regional level approval.

· Coordinate and collaborate with Hyatt functional stakeholders to gather and curate data for creation of pitch books and presentation.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

· 3 years in a hospitality, commercial real estate, brand, feasibility and or advisory role required.

· 1 year Previous experience in hotel franchise sales and development, hotel feasibility, hotel financial analysis or other sales-related experience required.

· Established relationships with owners, operators, consultant, management companies, lenders, builders, etc.

· Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor.

· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple relationships and deals at all times

Experience Preferred:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Management, Real Estate or Finance preferred.

· Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time required
