We are looking to hire a Conferencing Services Specialist to help with the upgrade and implementation of conference room technology across our Lake County offices. The Conferencing Service Technician will be responsible for planning the operational and installation activities for audiovisual (AV) systems across the organization. This role involves coordinating with internal IT teams, facilities, business clients, and vendors to ensure successful installation for new room deployments.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of installing AV systems, coordinating with vendors, and tracking and communicating implementation status to ensure successful implementation. Knowledge of Cisco Video Conferencing hardware (MX, SX, and Room), as well as registering and deploying video conferencing end points in a Cisco environment using Cisco Control Hub, is a plus. Candidates will be expected to use existing Company standards and design templates to facilitate the build, installation, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan operational and installation activities for AV across the organization

- Lead larger, more complex technology deployments to support conference room management following technology deployment project standards

- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Follow Best Practices and identify process improvements

- Lead cross-IT initiatives to ensure successful AV experiences in relation to new room deployments

- Champion change and innovation and possess a global perspective in decision-making

- Adhere to established policies and provide all related quality deliverables as determined by QA practices

- Work with local site facilities to scope out and execute full AV installations

- Act as a liaison between IT and clients to ensure successful implementation of technology deployment projects

- Deliver all technology deployment projects within scope, on-time, and within budget

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and vendor escalation of AV equipment, including conference AV and unified communication systems, as part of a team

- Liaison company standards between architect, vendors, and stakeholders, making and approving substitutions where applicable

- Work cross-functionally between IT teams to ensure a successful conferencing experience

- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and users of conference spaces regarding upcoming changes, downtime, and training opportunities related to AV

- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments

- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to requirements

- Establish and foster relationships with appropriate internal partners, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes to integrators and company facilities

- Identify risks and create contingency plans for conference room deployments and upgrades
