Job Title: Machine Operator 2nd Shift ($19/HR STARTING PAY)
Job Description
Our organization, a leading manufacturer of Carbon Rings and Seals for the Oil Industry, is seeking dynamic individuals for our production team. This role provides various opportunities like machine operating, grinder operating, quality control, material handling, CNC, and more. Our product is unique, similar to cast iron, used as a seal/coupling/washer and does not transfer heat. As an Operator Trainee, you will start in our Carbon Pressing Department, handling machines that press powder carbon into small rings or operating a grinding machine to grind down pieces to the correct size. You will be trained to do offsets on the machines, ensuring the parts are produced to specification. You will also visually inspect rings for imperfections and handle the process of cooking and solidifying the rings in a furnace. The role may involve operating lapper machines and can be repetitive.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). This is NOT a temporary position. We plan on bringing a candidate on direct to the company.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Crystal Lake, IL, Illinois.
Work Environment
We have openings for 2nd shift with shift hours as follows: 3pm-11pm M-F. As we primarily produce carbon-based rings, the environment can be a bit dusty and depending on the weather, it can also be hot. To ensure comfort, we provide uniforms with a daily laundry service. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the CNC field and be part of a large operation.
