The Service Parts Coordinator for Leica Biosystems is responsible for driving on time delivery of parts shipments to our field service team.

This position is part of the North America Planning Center located in Richmond, Illinois and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Service Organization and report to the Service and Demo Planning Manager responsible for driving on time delivery and inventory management for the Service and Demo team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead communications with the field Service and Coordination team regarding part availability and process part requests vie salesforce, email and phone

+ Processing transfers between Engineers and placing orders through the business units when needed

+ Proactive communication regarding any shortages or shipping issues to the team

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Experience in materials planning or supply chain environment

+ SAP inventory management and Salesforce experience

+ Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Excellent time management and organization skills

+ Excellent customer relations/ service skills

+ Goal oriented and results driven
