As a Cable Technician you’ll work with a partner to install/replace Access Point (AP) devices at prisons and jails across the state of New York. You will spend multiple weeks at one site installing AP devices, pulling cable through conduit, running CAT6 cables, and performing general networking maintenance in LDF Closets and DF Plazas. This job does require travel and you will be compensated for food and lodging when traveling.

Skills and Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a cable technician

Able to pass extensive background checks for the state of New York

Experience following blueprints to identify Access Points

CAT6 cabling experience

Comfortable working in pairs in a prison setting Experience drilling through concrete walls and utilizing tamper proof materials

Pay Range $40-$43 null
