Purpose

Market Access Trade engages channel stakeholders to provide access to product, services and resources for an exceptional patient experience. The Trade Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for executing channel contract initiatives, Pharmacy and Wholesaler program management, as well as data contracting for AbbVie’s portfolio. Marketing Operations engages and supports both Trade Account Executives and Marketing by tracking performance, managing resources and ensuring the programs are compliant and consistently delivered with high impact. The Manager is responsible for staying abreast of market dynamics, have a comprehensive understanding of key drivers and trends, and the proven ability to utilize available information, data sets and metrics to engage cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

+ The Trade Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for the drafting, redlining and execution of specialty and retail pharmacy Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Fee for Service (FFS) and data Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Services Agreements (MSAs) across assigned therapeutic areas, e.g., Immunology, Neuroscience, Eyecare.

+ Manage all SOWs through the Fair Market Value, redlining, negotiation, signature, purchase order, and program implementation processes, and maintain appropriate documentation through the ConTRAX contract management system.

+ Manage contract flow and prioritize based on program expirations, business needs, approval requirements and budget.

+ Ensure the vendor is setup once contracts are executed, e.g., purchasing setup.

+ Monitors and delivers budgets to ensure AbbVie is receiving the appropriate data, services, and support; anticipates, forecasts, and secures appropriate budget funds and support based on current and future business needs.

+ Stay current on policy developments and discuss with cross functional partners the potential impact on patients and service delivery.

+ Collaborates confidently with Trade Marketing, Market Access Brand Marketing, Patient Services, Marketing Analytics and Business Insights, Business Technology Services, Legal and OEC.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.

+ Strong experience in drafting contracts and financial acumen.

+ Highly proficient in word and excel.

+ Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to motivate and inspire team members often without authority

+ Skills to proactively assess changing business conditions and agility to adapt accordingly.

+ Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MA) preferred.

+ Strong negotiation skills and ability to strategically support the external pharmacies, Trade Account Executives and Legal.

+ Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, quick learning, adapting and creativity in problem solving.

+ Demonstrated ability to be a consistent high-level contributor of multiple projects and processes.
