Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Field Service Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing electromechanical fare boxes used in public transportation. You will spend 75% of your time working in-house, focusing on testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fare boxes, including board level circuit repair. You will report to the in-house Field Service Supervisor. The remaining 25% involves national field-level repair work on buses and trains, including the installation and commissioning of new units.

Hard Skills

+ 1-3 years experience in Electromechanical Service/Field Service or Technical College Degree

+ Soldering experience

+ Board level circuit repair and analysis

+ Ability to read and interpret Electrical and PCB Blueprints

Soft Skills

+ Strong communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role requires 25% travel, potentially increasing to 50% post-training. Travel may include weekends and fluctuating hours. Work environments will vary, including possible indoor/outdoor settings in various weather conditions. Most work is conducted overnight when buses and trains are out of commission. The facility is among the cleanest, brightest, and quietest manufacturing environments, highly praised by current employees.
