Job Title: CAD OperatorJob Description

As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating and modifying drawings and solid models for both new and existing products. Your daily tasks will include producing dimensional drawings, exploded isometric drawings, design configuration drawings, matrix parts lists, basic specifications, data sheets, and maintaining engineering database records. You will make edits to existing designs for custom one-off production of off-the-shelf products with certain custom applications and create manufacturing 2D prints for new models. Your role involves interpreting project briefs, meeting with inside sales engineers to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications, producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints. You will also be responsible for updating software, drawings, and other documents, remaining professional when feedback is delivered, implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible, communicating potential design issues, and conducting research when required.
