The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located at Lake Forest, IL .
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting consolidation for the Infectious Disease (ID) business unit.
Responsibilities
+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of four finance professionals.
+ Collaborate with Corporate and Rapid Diagnostics Division finance on planning and reporting requirements, and coordinate these expectations across ID Commercial, Operations, and R&D finance teams.
+ Develop and maintain ID finance systems and planning processes and implement ongoing improvements and standardization.
+ Create appropriate financial metrics that are relevant and insightful to ID leadership.
+ Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for the ID organization.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
+ Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience leading people
+ Excellent communication and analytical skills
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines.
+ Sharp attention to detail
+ Proactive problem solver with a knack for streamlining processes.
+ Comfortable with complexity and change
+ High level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; Power ON skills a plus

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
