About the Role

As a Global Process Architect for the Deal Desk / Deal Management process within the Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO) team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Deal Management processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. You will be accountable to creating & delivering the future state process for 1 of 8 major processes within the end-to-end commercial lifecycle. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing best practices across the organization.

This role requires strong leadership & influencing skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Candidates should be champions of continuous improvement, have a passion for efficiency and appreciate the need to create the best commercial user and customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

+ Future State Process Design : Lead the design, analysis, and documentation of the Deal Management & Deal Desk processes in order to improve efficiency, create standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

+ Collaborate with leadership and process team to define process aspirations

+ Participate in process discovery work across regions, which form the basis of the requirements and solution design

+ Collect requirements and input from markets to ensure global solution is designed with the breadth and flexibility needed

+ Strategic Alignment & Commercial Centricity: Ensure that all processes align with Delivery’s strategic objectives and contribute to the achievement of long-term goals of the commercial organization.

+ Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement, implementing best practices, and monitoring performance metrics.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments including Commercial teams, Regional Process Representatives, Finance, Product and Compliance to understand process requirements, gather feedback, and implement changes effectively.

+ Change Management : Partner with change management efforts associated with process improvements, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.

+ Performance Monitoring : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor process performance, track progress, and identify areas for further optimization.

+ Risk Management : Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in moving from design to implementation and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions, delays and ensure business continuity.

+ Support Technology Integration : Collaborate with the Business Applications team (IT) to leverage technology solutions for process automation, data analysis, and workflow optimization.

+ Leadership and Mentoring : Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members involved in process improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or similar fields

+ 5+ years’ in sales operations, product marketing, process improvement, sales, business process management, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations or related roles

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 8+ years’ experience sales operations, product marketing, process improvement, sales, business process management, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations or related roles in sales operations, product marketing, process improvement, sales, business process management, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations or related roles

+ MBA or similar Master’s level degree

+ Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives.

+ Familiarity with project management principles and tools.

+ Proficiency in process mapping, modeling, and optimization techniques.

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year – USD$152,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year – USD$168,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year – USD$168,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
