Job Summary
The animal behavior technician in the Llano laboratory will train mice to conduct operant condition tasks and will help set up and troubleshoot animal behavioral testing rigs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Animal behavior experiments/apparatus troubleshooting
- Data analysis/documentation
Bachelor's degree in biology-related field.
Experience working with laboratory animals.
Preferred Qualifications
More than 1 year working with laboratory animals.
A working knowledge of neuroscience.
Appointment Information
This is a part-time academic hourly position. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the deadline date. Starting hourly salary is $19.00. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
