Summary

As our Global Sourcing Specialist, you will execute on our comprehensive Strategic Sourcing plan, with a strong focus on product sourcing and supplier management / development.

In This Role, You Will…

  • Deliver sourcing strategies for multiple products, including the delivery of cost savings/analysis, and best-fit sourcing deployment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operation Coordinator, Engineering, Product, QA, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to ensure corporate product profitability goals and strategies are met
  • Carry out set objectives and monitor performance to achieving year over year cost reduction and continuous improvement of sourcing process.
  • Responsible for Fellowes Global customer service levels achieving AAO corporate goals while utilizing supplier performance metrics; drive continuous improvement in global supply base.
  • Acquire strong understanding of all relevant systems.
  • Achieve ongoing process improvement strategies; develop and streamline sourcing and procurement practices to ensure alignment with organizational business strategies and corporate performance objectives
  • Implement product supply decisions, and provide input and assessments within the core New Product Development and Stage Gate process
  • Ensure successful on-time delivery of all New Product Development / Continuous Product Development Roadmap completion goals
  • Perform critical supplier development activities improving productivity, supplier quality, and reducing costs in both OEM and manufacturing business models
  • Manage sourcing requirements through vendor identification, evaluation, certification and improvement in service, cost reliability and quality
  • Issue purchase orders as needed ensuring supplier acknowledgement and on time delivery
  • Utilize data to identify and analyze country capability, vendor identification, evaluation, certification and improvement in service, cost reliability and quality.
  • Execute Fellowes tooling procedure through annual scorecard audits, new tool setups, maintenance or changes of existing tools, and management/disposition of all global tooling assets
  • Analyze supplier / product capacity management across the business

What You Bring to the Team

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in global sourcing, purchasing, and/or supply chain management
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, which includes the ability to build true partnerships across the supply base, as well as being able to effectively carry out, manage and implement appropriate negotiation strategies and techniques
  • The ability to implement and execute an optimal supply base
  • The ability to maximize return on investment across KPI's
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

You May Also Have…

  • Experience with supplier identification, assessment, certification and development
  • A demonstrated history of delivering year over year cost savings, building partner
