Position Summary
The Extra Help Recruitment Coordinator works within UI Health Human Resources by assist in the planning, implementing and evaluation of recruitment strategies throughout the Hospital and clinics. This position works with the Human Resources Recruitment team in the evaluating, screening, hiring and processing of new and existing employees. The Extra Help Recruitment Coordinator is tasked with enhancing the Hospital's ability to profile, isolate, identify, assess and build a network of candidates for hire. Assist with the onboarding of new hires. Assists with the I-9 documents

Duties & Responsibilities

Attends job fairs and tracks applicant responses.
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites.
Develops high quality candidate pools to support the HR Recruitment team by proactively sourcing passive candidates; implements targeted recruitment plans for all Hospital openings; utilizes
recruitment methods including networking, cold calling, social media, professional associations, conference lists, referral programs and online search tools to source and recruit candidates.
Assist in the planning and execution of all recruitment activities including: monitoring application tracking system use, applicant review and vacancy postings. Collaborates with outside advertising agencies for external job postings and advertisements. Assist in coordinating recruitment activities: Open houses, advertisings, recruitment materials, etc.
Coordinates and assists with recruitment and selection activities throughout the UI Health System including: conducting Behavioral Based Interviews, conducting reference checks.
Meets with new hires to complete onboarding including: preparing offer letters, degree verification, background checks, scheduling health screens, HRFE
transactions, verifying employment eligibility and completion of Form I-9's using
Tracker, sending welcome information, New Employee Orientation and processing

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent.
Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories below:
course work in human resource administration, business administration or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
