Overview
PET Technologist - PRN - Niles, IL
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
Schedules procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology or nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
Minimum five to seven years experience in nuclear medicine, including two years of previous PET experience.
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
GE Discovery 710 PET/CT scanner experience.
Extensive experience in PET.
Any experience with Lutathera and Pluvicto Therapies is a bonus.
