Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a talented individual with knowledge of and experience working with custom applications using techno-functional skills. This Senior Business Analyst will work closely with our Sales Operations department to continue building our Supply Chain Foundations (SCF) tool used by Medlines Prime Vendor Analysts and Medline customers. This individual will work as a Senior Business Analyst on the SCF SCRUM team to deliver incremental product releases, refine the product backlog, lead sprint planning sessions, participate in sprint retrospectives, showcase new work in sprint demos and support our 3000+ user base. This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-paced team that thrives on agile practices while producing new cutting-edge information sharing with our customers as well as lead a transformation of this low code application from Appian to MS Power Platform.

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for collaborating with business partners to identify and document business problems. Recommend solutions with new or existing processes, applications, systems, programs, or software. Will manage and drive multiple primary assignments and handle complex issues/requests. Will act as the primary contact with business stakeholders to collect requirements, lead the team through sprints, demo work in progress, validate and test the development work and deliver the execution of the technical release.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and drive requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders with minimal dependency from Lead or Manager. Organize and engage in effective meetings with the team and business.
  • Identify the inter-dependencies of complex projects across domains. Requires leading, communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including senior leaders and executives.
  • Research solutions available with minimal dependency on lead/manager.
  • Ability to articulate business solutions and to communicate with technical teams to develop and configure solutions.
  • Prioritize primary assignments for other team members. Provide feedback to team members as required.
  • Investigate and document business requirements from business partners to facilitate discussions and conduct workflow analyses.
  • Interpret business requirements to functional designs. Collaborate with Developers and Engineers on technical designs and development. Convert business requirements into user stories workflow charts and diagrams with appropriate acceptance criteria that can be converted into technical tasks.
  • Act as a liaison and lead between the IT development group and business partners for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Liaison with low code developers as they develop new features and enhancements.
  • Working with large datasets within applications, creative problem solving, leadership, and communication skills necessary to drive change.
  • Ensure solutions are tested/validated sufficiently before being implemented in production. Test planning and testing results with minimal level of input and review from management
  • Work with the business partners to ensure process and system changes are communicated clearly and that users are informed and/or trained sufficiently.
  • Provide daily support via HelpDesk tickets for business and customer users.
