What We DoOversees, develops and delivers training programs for First American employees and/or external customers to meet organizational and learner needs. Partners with business leaders to identify training needs, standardizes training initiatives, tracks and reports on training success. Conducts multiple training delivery methods in an individual or group setting. Promotes efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills of staff and end users. This job family includes technical training.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts to resolve issues in creative and effective ways. Manages a diverse and wide range of training projects and initiatives. Expertise in more than one area. Develops creative solutions and drives change.

Essential functions are typically described in terms of training delivery and development, analyzing data, driving change, negotiating for resources, influencing outcomes, etc.

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing
* Responsible for training programs/initiatives and training outcomes for organization employees and/or external customers
* Partners with management to identify and develop training solutions to solve a wide range of business issues
* This role could operate as a functional training manager for a program, functional unit, or area
* Conducts needs analysis and confers with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training
* Determines training needs, develops plans/curriculum, and conducts training sessions.
* Using subject matter expertise, develop new training programs for targeted use, assessing content, target audiences, and program deliverables
* May evaluate training programs and conduct return-on-investment studies.
* Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods to deliver effective training
* Vendor management of partners that deliver training programs
* May travel to remote locations to assess needs and deliver training.

* Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with an extensive knowledge base of industry practices and established policies and procedures
* Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at the senior management level across functional groups and business units
Supervision Received or Extended
* Typically does not have formal supervisory responsibility but may mentor less experienced team members
* Works independently with supervisory consultation

Salary Pay Range: $$75,375.00-$100,475.00
