What We Do

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, Application Performance Management (APM), automation, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) responsibilities. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, and automation for newly integrated features. A deep understanding of our product domain is crucial, as the SDET will be expected to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our product, contributing to its continuous improvement and driving its success. A positive, engaged personality with strong communication skills will underly these technical skills for long-term success.

What You'll Bring
Develop, maintain, and execute test automation code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Jest and Cypress.
Integrate automation tests with DevOps CI/CD cycle.
Use APM tools to monitor software performance and identify issues.
Participate in the development and support of testing strategies, plans, and activities.
Work closely with the platform team and other SRE's to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
Gain a deep understanding of the product domain and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing insights and suggestions for product improvement.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or comparable work experience
Proven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
Experience with modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
Experience with APM and analytics tools like DataDog, New Relic, AppDynamics, FullStory, Pendo or similar.
Knowledge of SRE principles and ability to implement them.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Ability to understand and become an expert in the product domain.

Salary Range: $99,675.00-$166,100.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
