Summary: This position is responsible for assessing and analyzing business processes for operational effectiveness as part of the Project Management Office with a focus on commercial lending platforms, processes and systems. Identifies, designs and implements process improvement solutions. Serves as a liaison between assigned business unit(s) and PMO, providing in-depth knowledge of the functional capabilities of specific software applications and a functional understanding of the user environment. For this role, we are looking for an individual to partner with our various Lending verticals and their software systems and vendors.
Essential Functions:
Technical Subject Matter Expert on the systems that support lending business processes.
Gathers requirements for a request, product proposal and/or for the project life cycle.
Research vendor and software solutions and participates in vendor review and selection,
Participates on project teams related to new product development and deployment, and implementing new banking software, upgrades and migrations.
Collaborates with the project team to complete project level documentation including requests for proposal, Business Case, documenting scope and internal impact and risk assessments.
Builds test scripts based on design specifications and configurations and assists with validation tasks.
Develops SDLC and technical reference documentation to explain product functionality, software applications, processes, workflows and data flows.
Assigned as a System Admin and assists the business and/or vendor on workflow decisions and configurations as well as the solution build.
Assists the business to develop process improvements, opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.
Investigates root cause and assists with identifying resolution for supported software systems and file processes.
Provides post implementation support for system changes and upgrades via Change Management and coordinates release reviews, testing and deployment tasks.
Maintains an understanding of assigned bank lending systems and how they relate to each other and their dependencies.
Participates as a member of the conversion team for mergers and acquisitions.
This role will primarily focus on all commercial banking operations, systems and processes. The incumbent must have commercial lending/banking support knowledge
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field and two or more years of business/systems analysis, with commercial lending experience with a project specialty; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Must have financial services experience, preferably commercial lending.

Competencies:
Strong background in lending products and processes; preferably commercial lending
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of banking operations.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Automation and Scripting Tools
Knowledge of API/Integration technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong technical writing ability
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Experienced in creating business analytics with visual and SQL based tools

Preferred, but not required:
Technical experience with Jack Henry core banking software.
Experience with LoanVantage, Encompass, MeridianLink, LaserPro
