Position Overview:
Zones is looking to hire a Solution Architect to play the role of an Enterprise Architect with expertise in solutioning opportunities in Field Services as well as Integration Services for End User Devices as well as Data Center products in our Technology Solutions Center. You will be assigned to our fast growing Alliances Channel and will the lead the technical presales efforts focused on creating end-to-end solutions and services for our alliance customers who are large Global System Integrators.This is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level and make an impact on Zones global growth for 2024!
What you'll do as the Enterprise Architect:

Creating competitive proposals that reflect thought leadership and alternate creative options while having an eye for detail and competitive intelligence.You will ensure that effort estimation, pricing, scope, and assumptions strike the right balance between the ability to win it as well as the ability to deliver it.
Your role will be to qualify the opportunity, understand the client's requirements, stated and implied expectations and most importantly the expected turnaround time. These proposals work with an average of 3 day turnaround times. Post the qualification, you will leverage a team of Solution Architects belonging to one or more of our four practices to help you create the right proposal. Depending on the scope, this will require coordination with teams in the US as well as International locations.
The most important characteristics of this role are:
To be able to orchestrate multiple opportunities at a time without missing any deadlines
To be able to establish benchmarks that ensure that our proposals are competitive in price and deliverability in a brutally competitive and fragmented ecosystem
You will take ownership of consulting engagements in the most complex environments to ensure optimal implementation of the complex design of:
Field Services:
Store & Branch Site Assessment / Surveys
Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) Devices, Hardware, Software
Break fix repair / replacement of Devices and Hardware
Health Checks
Inventory Audits
Smart Hands
Integration Services at our Technology Solutions Center
Asset Tagging
Imaging
Device and Hardware Configuration
What you will bring to the team:
10+ years of experience in a Solution Engineering/Architecture role in retail, healthcare, public sector, or banking focusing on Field Services and Integration Services
7+ years strategic solutioning, pricing and contract negotiation via Solutioning roles
Experience working with proposal teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting critical business development activities
Ability to strategize, plan and execute writing requirements for all proposals, responses etc.
Entrepreneur spirit with smart leadership qualities, ownership and accountability.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, unstructured, limited governance dynamic environment without losing focus on results.
