Account Specialist, Retailers (Customer Excellence Team)MEDELA LLC in McHenry, IL
Hybrid Role; 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
You have experience in:
- Customer Service: Passionately engage in customer service and communication with retail accounts.
- Inventory & Order Management: Support inventory and order management processes to ensure services and customer compliance requirements are met.
- Communication: The ability to clearly and effectively convey information, listen actively, provide constructive feedback, and adapt communication styles to different audiences and situations.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Analyze every situation from a customer-centric perspective, understanding the deeper context of issues.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Adapt to changes seamlessly and solve problems effectively.
- Technical Skills: Utilize strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to perform job functions efficiently.

This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the McHenry, IL office each week and 2 days remote.

Education/Experience Requirements: Account Specialist (Retailers)
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimum three years experience in customer service, sales support
- Intermediate sales analysis and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Data warehouse environment required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in an environment with global objectives
- Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English
- Apply principles of logical thinking to solve practical problems
Main Responsibilities: Account Specialist (Retailers)
- Merchandise flow lead for the merchandise flow process for key strategic accounts
- Inventory management includes identifying ordering patterns that impact supply, service, and compliance requirements, proactive contribution to national account demand planning
- Order entry - monitors daily EDI order transmissions, promptly and accurately enters orders
- EDI management
- Resolving pricing issues
- Intermediate trend analysis in stocks, fill rate, forecast to demand, vendor performance (scorecard)
- System errors impacting workflows internally, compliance
- Key account issue resolution lead decision-maker for key strategic account issue resolution resulting in increased service levels, reduced non-compliance errors and overall efficiency
