Job Description

Description We are in search of an Account Manager to join our team in Decatur, Illinois. The role majorly involves the management of customer credit accounts within the finance industry. This temporary position involves a variety of tasks, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

- Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit

- Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

- Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Communication, Customer Service, Finance, and GAAP Accounting to perform tasks effectively

- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies in all transactions and interactions

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

- Continuously improve knowledge and skills, staying updated on industry trends and best practices

- Ensure all operations are conducted with a high level of professionalism, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive customer information. Requirements – Demonstrable experience in an Account Manager or similar client-facing role

- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service

- Familiarity with Finance procedures and principles

- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting standards

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively

- Proficient in using finance-related software and tools

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field would be advantageous

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

- Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
