Jefferson Wells seeks a HMDA Compliance Consultant for a remote opportunity.

Duration: Minimum of 2 months

Hourly Pay: Depending on experience and negotiable, $45 or greater W2

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable HMDA Compliance Consultant to join our team for a minimum engagement of two months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our adherence to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) requirements, focusing on data integrity, data analysis, and compliance with various regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

+ HMDA and LAR Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Loan/Application Register (LAR) data in accordance with HMDA requirements.

+ Data Integrity and Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to verify the integrity and accuracy of HMDA data submissions.

+ Fair Lending Compliance: Assess and ensure compliance with Fair Lending regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Regulation B (Reg B), Regulation C (Reg C), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).

+ Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and review regulatory reports to ensure they meet federal and state requirements.

+ Audit and Examination Support: Provide support during internal and external audits and examinations related to HMDA and other related regulations.

+ Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and enhancement of policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with HMDA and other regulatory requirements.

+ Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for staff on HMDA compliance and related regulatory topics.

Qualifications:

+ Certifications: CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) preferred.

+ Experience: Proven experience in HMDA compliance and related regulatory areas.

+ Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HMDA, LAR, Fair Lending, CRA, UDAAP, Reg B, Reg C, TILA, and ECOA.

+ Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.

+ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex regulatory concepts to various stakeholders.

+ Technology: Proficiency in compliance software and data analysis tools.
