Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to develop detailed manufacturing processes, design fixtures, and determine special tooling/gauging requirements. This role involves closely working with the shop floor, troubleshooting problems, and performing contract reviews for manufacturability. The successful candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time on the floor and 25% programming at a desk. Responsibilities include developing both detailed and summary processes for production and quotations, securing outside quotations for raw materials and services on new projects, and developing manufacturing procedures, methods, and standards. Additionally, the role requires developing testing requirements/procedures to ensure compliance with customer/design specifications, introducing new products, and supporting the implementation of new equipment and processes. The candidate will also perform value analysis on existing designs, participate in the MRB process, and serve as the primary interface with customers and suppliers on manufacturing issues.
