Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of embedded software development from planning and requirement gathering to coding and testing. Your responsibilities will include writing software development plans, documenting software requirements, creating software designs, writing code, and developing test cases and procedures. You’ll be working in a highly regulated environment, requiring meticulous attention to documentation and adherence to standards.

Hard Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

+ Proficiency with the C programming language

+ 4+ years of experience with embedded software development

+ Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace, Automotive, Telecom, Medical)

+ Knowledge of full software lifecycle development

+ US Citizenship

Soft Skills

+ Interest in aerospace environments

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a multiple engineers and learn quickly

+ Flexibility to adapt to hybrid work schedules

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Illinois and some days remote.
