Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler with sit-down forklift experience. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift for 90% of the day, ensuring that production areas have all the required materials to perform their jobs. The position has potential for overtime and might initially involve more manual material handling until in-house certification is achieved. Additionally, the role might require wearing a respirator when handling certain materials. The pay range is $18-$21 per hour.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Chicago, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our North Chicago site is a large, secure facility composed of 5 buildings. The buildings have a rich history, being over 100 years old. There are 3 major production environments within the location, each equipped with fillers, cappers, sealers, and case erectors used to mix and fill containers with various industrial products. The facility also houses major warehouse areas, holding the majority of our inventory. The buildings are all clean and temperature controlled.
