Job Description
Our client, a leader in their manufacturing industry, is looking to add multiple welders to their operations. They have openings on 1st shift within their operation. We are looking for individuals who have experience or their certification in welding and are very open to seeing entry level welders to be considered for an opportunity. These positions are long term/permanent job openings due to increases in business.
We are seeking a Welder Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will initially start in a production role, with the opportunity to transition into a MIG welding apprentice program. This role involves performing welds on various parts of displays for our customers, with 60 – 70% of the time spent on welding tasks. The rest of the time will be allocated to operating a punch press, or grinding material if experienced. The role also offers the opportunity for candidates with the right certifications to eventually train others.
