You’ll support and shape the future of a large enterprise expense program end-to-end in partnership with a custom team of +/- 20 team members who work across various categories globally. This role is extremely visible as you’ll lead and interact with the client’s Travel, Payment & Expense Departments. You’ll guide and advise the client and affiliate partners in an efficient, effective manner to achieve the objectives as set forth in the engagement SOW, within the agreed timelines and associated costs. You’ll enjoy leading and working with a diverse range of subject matter authorities primarily in the expense management software platforms and technology departments while at the same time helping to support and define the expense and payments strategy with Sr. Leadership.

You’ll play a meaningful role in partnering with expense technology technical and product managers to drive product development roadmaps and priorities, identifying and tracking technical issues while working with a large team across multiple workstreams and priorities. You’ll be solution oriented with a customer focus bias and will exude confidence being in front of the customer partners regardless of their seniority and will be able to present and communicate well in all scenarios.

What You’ll Do:

+ Provide strategic advice to business partners under the direction of and in partnership with the Travel Owner.

+ Program optimization: finding new areas for potential improvements and process simplification on travel & expense service and savings.

+ Coordinate and participate in preparation of management information deliverables including recurring and ad-hoc reporting requirements for partners.

+ Working with the expense product technology teams by taking an active approach to identifying T&E system product and feature enhancement opportunities that are aligned with business objectives, product roadmaps and prioritization.

+ Lead, coordinate and supervise technical issues, expense systems administration/configurations and work-streams.

+ Lead and provide oversight for transformation projects managed and delivered by the Travel Management/Expense Management Software Company and the client to achieve key business priorities that involve change management, transformation initiatives and new technology platform releases.

+ Support travel and card payment technology partners and solutions.

+ Present and implement innovative solutions that support the client’s overall business objectives.

+ Assume responsibility for expense management technology and platform consistency across multiple countries, driving continuous improvement by applying change methodology from strategy planning through to delivery and results.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Strong leadership, ability to comfortably work and communicate with senior leaders and influence at all levels of the organization.

+ Business Travel and Expense Management software platform background required.

+ Demonstrate experience in strategic planning and analytics to create innovative solutions that solve business challenges. Understanding of change and experience management methodologies.

+ Strong analytical and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, track and deliver results with a detailed focus on accuracy.

+ Excellent written/verbal skills, strong business presentation skills and technical skills. Fluent in English, additional language skills are preferred.

+ Highly motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks, with excellent organization skills and careful attention to detail. Experience influencing and driving cultural change.

+ Communication -must have a proven track record in both written and oral communications including writing high-level program documents, including policies and procedural documents.

+ Experience addressing senior leadership, inspiring change through the ability to communicate and “sell” the travel program’s value proposition.

+ Command Skills – understand what it takes to be successful in a complex and sometimes ambiguous corporate environment, including the ability to identify and gain the support of key constituencies, champions across business units with competing priorities.

+ Background managing conflicting styles, attitudes, etc. and not allowing them to detract from the vision and value proposition.

Location

United States

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
