Service Growth Manager, Americas

Come join a fantastic team! Lead Inside Selling team to all aspects of assigned sales functions; including responsive sales support, engaging prospects to grow business and produce incremental revenue for an assigned group. Primary responsibilities include: proactive business development, revenue generation, providing communication to the executive management team; training, coaching and mentoring; monitoring and reporting on sales metrics, and coordinating lead efforts between Service, Sales and Global Service Marketing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their technical requirements and business challenges

+ Solution Selling: Present Leica Microsystems’ products and capabilities effectively to prospects. Provide technical expertise and recommend appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.

+ Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned territory or customer base.

+ Team Management: Manage, motivate, and develop sales representatives. Provide coaching around selling process and pipeline development. Coach direct reports in creating new leads to bring in incremental revenue. Motivate team to meet goals. Achieve and surpass assigned quotas for the team

+ Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and timely quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with customer requirements.

+ Market Analysis: Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.

+ Customer Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical support, and post-sales activities. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.

YOUR PROFILE

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

+ Minimum of two years of Sales Leadership experience with five years of Inside Sales Experience or related experience.

+ Familiarity with Medical, Academia and/or Industry microscopy solutions.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively in a dynamic environment, and lead a direct Sales team.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 20% travel expected).

+ Based in Deerfield, IL, location is preferred.

+ Hybrid- There are three days in the office and two days remote.
