Job Description

Schedule: 10hr Day Shift (8am-6:30pm)
4 days/wk – 40 hours guaranteedNO On-Call (may require every third Saturday, as needed)
Experience REQUIRED:
-2 years PACU experience (Med/Surg and Tele acceptable)
-active IL RN License, BLS, ACLS
-expert IV insertion
- Prior ambulatory procedure experience with Surgical, Cath, IR patients Phase 1 PACU or ICU experience is highly preferred. PALS highly preferred. 13 Week Contract with an option to extend or go internal! This is the Prep/Recovery unit for Surgical, Cath, and IR patients; 11 beds. NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING. 1:1-2 patient ratios for patients not meeting discharge criteria for phase 2. May go to 1:3-4 for extended stay/same day discharge total joints/gyn procedures. General Comments Additional skills needed: Pre/Post procedural assessment and monitoring of patient population described above. Parking: free Scrubs: Navy blue Addtional Notes: No artificial fingernails or extenders when having direct patient care.
