You will be responsible for updating customers on their shipment status and ensuring a seamless delivery process.
Your daily tasks will include managing tracking reports, updating Proof of Delivery (POD) in UFS, and complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) specific to each customer.
You will handle the opening of BB Consolidations in UFS, send arrival notices to customs brokers, and confirm MAWBs.
Additionally, you will create delivery orders, coordinate with the Dispatch team, and monitor delivery statuses.
Effective communication with airlines, warehouses, and other vendors is crucial to providing updates or instructions.
You will also manage email communications, respond timely, and escalate issues such as damages, delays, or customer complaints when necessary.
Billing tasks may be required for larger customers. The role demands flexibility with hours, including potential intermittent overtime.
Work Environment
The role operates from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break. Overtime may be required occasionally based on business needs.
