About the Role
As a Scholarly Communication Manager, you will oversee SSRN’s Research Paper Series. You will drive revenue and manage client relationships. SSRN is a leading research platform that facilitates the dissemination of scholarly work globally. Our objective is to connect researchers with the latest research and provide innovative solutions for academic publishing
Responsibilities
+ Managing a team of 4 scholarly communication specialists to deliver electronic journal services to academic and research organizations.
+ Engaging in customer conversations to showcase SSRN’s services and address inquiries.
+ Having direct management over a set of customer accounts and overseeing the implementation process for new accounts.
+ Liaising with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely resolution of issues.
+ Documenting and communicating product and service improvement requirements in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
+ Possess a BA or equivalent.
+ Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of academic publishing or higher education, supported by substantial experience in the field.
+ Be familiar with standard software programs such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Be experienced in people management and meeting deadlines.
