Required Skills:

Hardware Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Work on Hardware Lifecycle of servers including pre-production hands-on system and hardware debugging and stress testing.

2. Enable production-ready system monitoring, automated provisioning and automated remediation of issues.

3. Test systems before release to production data centers, and track health and lifecycle of servers in production.

4. Deliver scalable and reliable custom ASIC solutions to meet data center needs.

5. Work with end users to understand system use cases to help guide validation.

6. Ensure tight loops between hardware qualification and final application use models.

7. Identify volume and velocity of qualifications to allow fastest possible ramp to production.

8. Work on all aspects of silicon productization (early architecture and design inputs, pre-silicon validation, bring-up and post-silicon characterization).

9. Write tests, create bare metal operating systems, enable frameworks allowing reuse and scale testing from pre-silicon platforms to many ASICs during the post silicon phase.

10. Work on functional and electrical characterization over temperature, process corner and voltage.

11. Build and maintain extensive lab automation.

12. Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.

13. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

15. 1. Building systems/products for silicon enablement

16. 2. Troubleshooting and analytics tools

17. 3. Working with internal and external partners for device integration and systems development

18. 4. Developing test specifications, procedures, and debug guides for test solutions

19. 5. Modules/domains: Characterization, emulation, or embedded programming.

Public Compensation:

$187,180/year to $221,100/year + bonus + equity + benefits
