The AbbVie Digital Lab is transforming marketing at AbbVie, accelerating smarter healthcare, with a mission to transform the way we drive impact by designing and delivering the best insight-driven customer experiences.

The Digital Lab Omnichannel Strategy Specialty Lead serves as the empowered strategic interface between the Specialty Business Unit’s brand teams and the Digital Lab. Sitting within the Omnichannel Strategy team of the Digital Lab, this role lead a team of Omnichannel Strategy Brand Leads that function as fully integrated members of the brand marketing teams. They serve as the representative of the Lab embedded with the brand, and voice of the brand to the rest of the Digital Lab.

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to come to our Mettawa, Illinois office location at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

+ Leads a team of Omnichannel Strategy Brand Leads aligned to Specialty Business Unit brands.

+ This team is accountable to develop and maintain omnichannel and digital marketing strategies (Omnichannel Blueprints / Integrated Communication Plans) aligned to the strategic imperatives of the Brand. Authored in close partnership with Digital Lab Omnichannel Strategic Capabilities Strategists.

+ Strategically Lead and Manage cross-functional working teams to drive omnichannel marketing aligned to the overarching blueprints of the brand. Key teams include:

+ Brand Pod Teams. Cross-functional teams responsible to drive omnichannel “business as usual” (BAU) for the Brand. Inclusive of the Digital Lab owned execution and other functions like MABI, Performance Operations, etc.

+ Serve as Digital Lab Engagement Lead to brand and business unit leadership, ensuring that Digital Lab efforts are aligned to brand priorities and ultimately exceed the expectations of our colleagues.

+ Leads the application of Strategic Lab Capabilities into the Brand.

+ Serve as brand steward to the rest of the Digital Lab, providing deep brand strategy knowledge, expertise, and leadership.

Qualifications

+ BA/BS in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred. Or comparable experience with other degrees.

+ 7-10+ years of relevant digital marketing or omnichannel marketing leadership experience developing strategic approaches to drive growth, improve customer experience, and/or increase operational efficiency.

+ People Management / Leadership skills. The ability to build teams, manage people, and foster development of team members.

+ Account Management skills. The ability to represent and lead multiple teams within a broad digital marketing center of excellence.
