Job Description
The Digital Lab Senior Email Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight, and optimization of a team of email specialists in the CRM Digital Lab, creating non-personal promotion and field communication emails. They also oversee onboarding, training, and leadership of the team reporting to the Associate Director, Email Product Owner.
Responsibilities
+ Hire, coach, and develop a team of email specialists, overseeing their iterative email creative work, A/B tests, and the Material Review Process.
+ Expertly create emails using design best practices, HTML development, and testing approaches.
+ Ensure quality assurance by testing rendering, link functionality, dynamic data elements, tracking setup, and content accuracy.
+ Serve as the project originator for the Material Review Process and conduct functional testing in a highly regulated environment.
+ Develop and enforce enterprise Material Review Process (eMRP) standards, templates, modules, and guidelines for all brands.
+ Develop and implement a framework to document and share email expertise within the organization, promoting a test and learn approach.
+ Create and maintain user guides and manuals for email creation and approval routing.
+ Provide training to internal and agency partners based on their roles.
+ Establish and maintain governance of email creation standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to update guidelines regularly.
+ Monitor and manage the performance of users and ensure adherence to business processes.
+ Collaborate with vendors to identify and resolve issues and enhance email capabilities.
+ Conduct weekly office hours to gather tool feedback, manage the product roadmap, and communicate product enhancements.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
+ 5-8 years of experience in CRM, Email, Digital, and 1:1 marketing.
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level marketing automation platforms such as Knak, Marketo, SFMC, etc.
+ Strategic thinking ability with a strong execution mindset to exceed stakeholder expectations and project goals.
+ Ability to work independently and lead initiatives without day-to-day supervision.
+ Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong client service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical individuals.
+ Expert knowledge of email creation, including HTML/CSS experience and email rendering tools.
+ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Inquisitive mindset with strong analytical skills.
+ Experience in digital marketing or interactive agency is a plus.
+ Experience in the Pharma industry preferred but not required.

Salary: $103,500 – $197,000
