Reporting to the Director of Innovation and Marketing, the Divisional Product Manager is a key position within the Product Management Team at Magnaflux. This position leverages first-hand understanding of customer needs, products, applications expertise, excellent communication skills, and leadership instincts to drive new product development activities and decisions that maintains the position of Magnaflux in the market as a premium supplier of NDT products.

The primary responsibilities of this role include working closely with cross functional teams and engaging with end-users/distributors to drive the new product development process, providing technical support for sales, developing, and implementing marketing plans, and pricing to meet revenue and profit targets for the chemicals, capital equipment, and accessory product lines. This is achieved through customer and applications understanding via personal NDT experience and voice of the customer research. The role is also responsible for providing regular communication, support, and training to sales and channel partners.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and participate in Global Innovation/VOC exercises. Utilize this information to create a business case and clear value proposition to define new products for launch both Regionally and Globally.

+ Partner with Regional Leadership and Product Management Teams to develop and execute robust Innovation Roadmaps to achieve Magnaflux Innovation Targets.

+ Lead the innovation process both Regionally & Globally through each state gate, including exploration for new technologies, to ensure strong competitive differentiation while also meeting time to market expectations.

+ Provide both internal/external product training, and other related Go-to-Market activities as part of new product launches.

+ Perform market research, competitive analysis. and business data (product unit volumes, revenue and margin) reporting to understand business trends, and make informed decisions for current and future product direction.

+ Work with the Marketing Team to support and maintain marketing plans, advertising, and sales tools including brochures, product descriptions, application notes, web content, etc.

+ Lead cost/price analysis, work with regional teams to set pricing and general sales policies for the all product lines to achieve expected margins and revenue.

+ Leverage aspects of the ITW Business Model – 80/20, USa, PLS and cost savings – in all aspects of product management and decision making

+ Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field and/or Engineering. Advanced technical or business-related degree an advantage.

+ 7-10 years of marketing, product management and/or sales experience in a manufacturing company environment.

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

+ Demonstrate an ability and willingness to make decisions regarding all aspects of the product line, with a strong preference for data-driven analysis.

+ Proven ability to deliver innovation pipeline and manage multiple product lines.

+ Must have a strong understanding and appreciation for industrial chemical products, B2B consumables sales, and product testing.

+ Passion for technology and innovation.

+ Demonstrated experience of selling and marketing in a global environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

+ Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Power BI and Salesforce experience preferred)

Working Conditions:

+ Daily interactions with a dynamic, enthusiastic, and diverse Divisional Product Team; with direct reports in the UK and USA.

+ Ability to travel up to 25% required both domestically and internationally. Additional travel may be required depending on product lifecycle and business requirements.
