Senior Director, Time Product Owner

Job Description

What your day-to-day will look like:
1. Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the time and attendance product line, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
2. Customer Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, pain points, and requirements, ensuring that the product meets their expectations.
3. Compliance: Ensure the time and attendance product adheres to all relevant regulations and industry standards, providing compliance solutions and addressing any compliance-related issues.
4. Change Management: Implement change management processes to effectively manage product upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
5. Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate users on the features and functionalities of the time and attendance product, ensuring maximum adoption and utilization.
6. Enterprise-Wide Mindset and Standardization: Drive a culture of standardization and an enterprise-wide mindset, seeking opportunities to consolidate and streamline processes across the organization.
7. User Experience: Prioritize user experience and collaborate with development teams to improve the usability and functionality of the time and attendance product.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
1. Experience working with multiple countries: Previous experience working with global or multinational organizations, and familiarity with varying labor laws, regulations, and workforce management practices across different countries.
2. Technical resource management: Proven experience in effectively managing and communicating with technical resources, including developers, engineers, and IT professionals, to deliver successful product implementations and upgrades.
3. Vendor management: Experience in managing relationships with third-party vendors, including overseeing service level agreements, and ensuring vendor performance meets expectations.
4. Proficiency in Kronos, Workday, or SAP: Strong working knowledge of one or more of these time and attendance management systems (Kronos, Workday, or SAP) and their related modules, such as time tracking, scheduling, absence management, and reporting.
5. Project management skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects from initiation to completion while focusing on timeline, budget, and quality deliverables. Experience with agile methodology and tools is a plus.
6. Communication and collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and executive management.

Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of time and attendance processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Demonstrated track record of driving product vision, strategy, and successfully managing product lifecycles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in change management and user training, ensuring successful user adoption and transition.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Results-oriented with a focus on delivering value to the business and improving the user experience.
