About the Team
We're the Enterprise Architecture team at WEX, focusing on Enablement and Evening. We are in the process of improving existing solutions and also building new ones to continuously modernize our products and technologies. We focus on the latest and most efficient tools to deliver the best products to our customers. We have more work than we can handle and we're looking for great people to come along for the ride.
How you'll make an impact

You will be responsible for the successful execution of technical projects from initiation to closure. You will ensure that we meet our business objectives and deliver on time, within scope, and within budget. Your ability to manage technical details and product management processes is critical to the success of our solutions.

You will act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management. You will help us communicate project progress, status, and risks to ensure alignment with our organization's goals.

You love and understand technology! You understand what we do and how things work at a high level. You're excited about helping us with releases and sharing our deliverables with our stakeholders. Sometimes you will even write documentation to showcase your technical knowledge about our systems.

You will help us with requirements gathering, product roadmaps, customer feedback, product strategy, and anything else that helps us define, build, and deliver outstanding solutions to our internal and external customers.

You're open-minded and have strong soft skills to relate, collaborate, and communicate well with a diverse audience.

You love to learn about new software solutions and technologies! Technology evolves quickly and we want to provide the best options for our engineers continuously.

Your communication skills are outstanding. You're comfortable speaking in public (small audiences OK) and have strong writing skills.

5+ years of product management experience. You've performed functions such as requirements gathering, release planning, customer advocacy, roadmap planning, cross-functional collaboration, and anything else that manages and improves technical product development.

5+ years of technical project management experience. You worked with SCRUM, Kanban, and you are an advocate for agile methodologies.

3+ years of experience with Jira or equivalent tools. You know how to configure projects in Jira and customize them to meet our needs. You're also comfortable running various reports as needed.

You have technical knowledge or experience in understanding how software is built, deployed, and delivered. If you worked before on a technical team as a developer, it's a major plus.
It would be nice if you have

Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

You've managed projects with strong failover capabilities, with multi-region or even multi-cloud support.

Good understanding of security-related concepts and best practices, such as OWASP, SSO, ACLs, TLS, tokenization, etc.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $138,000.00 - $185,000.00
