Job Description

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Regulatory Affairs Specialist II who will work in our regulatory department supporting Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Group. As an Associate Regulatory Specialist II, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining various aspects of regional and global programs including but not limited to: Halal, Kosher, Organic, NSF 60 and NSF Non-Food programs. This role is critical in ensuring the commercialization and regulatory compliance of hundreds of Ecolab and Nalco brand products.

This position is based in Naperville, IL

What You Will Do:
Prepare, coordinate and secure necessary registrations and certifications for various NGO programs.
Be the interface between internal customers and external agencies.
Partner with business commercial leads to effectively manage NGO portfolio time commitments, cost savings initiatives and market outreach.
Manage questions from NGO mailbox for CRC, IFANCA, NSF, OMRI, EcoCert, WSDA
Works collaboratively throughout all elements of Regulatory Affairs to ensure business objectives are met on time and within budget
Achieve balance between regulatory concerns, project timelines and costs
Effectively manage projects to meet business objectives
Create Standard Operating Procedures to ensure efficiencies and knowledge base for others
Provide clear communication with associates at all levels in the organization
Keep up to date on regulatory areas of expertise and share knowledge with associates and businesses in a timely manner
Responsible for keeping detailed KPI and other metrics regarding role and responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years professional experience in Regulatory, Compliance or Technical discipline
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn business and regulatory process
Ability to ready and interpret technical and regulatory documents
Self-starter
Experience in product registration

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Experience working with non-governmental organizations and/or government agencies is a plus
Strong skills in data science and analytics
Experience leading project teams and developing new systems and processes
Experience using Microsoft Excel, SAP, EPIC and/or EBS
