Description:

Provide administrative support to the Directors and students working in the Department of Experiential Education, Trial Advocacy & Dispute Resolution, Moot Court, and Lawyering Skills Programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Order commodities to support the various programs using iBuy system or P-card. Coordinate and purchase travel expenses for student competitions, which includes registration, flights, hotel, and transportation. Purchase business meals and/or refreshments using the T-card. Maintain records of expenses involving a variety of accounts and keeps management informed of appropriateness of requested expenditures.
Logistical Support: Schedule, organize and provide logistics for, but not limited to, internal and external student competitions, special events, seminars, presentations and business meetings with outside entities or internal organization - order food, drinks, prepare attendance invitations, maintain RSVP notifications, coordinate travel arrangements, etc. Serve as a Chrome River delegate to create expense reports for staff and student reimbursement.
Administrative Support: Handle office tasks such as opening and closing files (electronic and physical), and creating, completing or formatting a range of documents in various electronic formats as requested, such as spreadsheets, fillable, .pfs forms, PowerPoint, etc. In consultation with faculty and staff, create and implement procedures for the programs and ensure procedures are followed in a consistent basis. Train students on office procedures. Work collaboratively with other administrative staff, faculty, and students to achieve common goals.
Other: Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. .High school graduation or equivalent

2. Any one or any combination totaling five (5) years (60 months) from the following categories:

A, college course work in business, finance, accounting or a related field:

60 semester hours or an Associate's degree equals one (1) year (12 months)
90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
120 semester hours or a Bachelor's degree equals three (3) years (36 months)
Master's degree or higher equals four (4) years (48 months)
B. progressively more responsible general or specialized office experience which included aspects of supervising staff or a job function, organizing, and performing duties that lead to knowledge of generally accepted office... For full info follow application link.
