We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Transportation Engineer in our Chicago O'Hare office. This position offers the opportunity to work on the design of a variety of transportation and site engineering projects. Enjoy rewarding project challenges and an opportunity to become an important part of a well-established technical group.
Transportation Engineer responsibilities include:
Design of highway, municipal, and site development improvements, including roadway elements, site grading, storm drainage, water main distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and other site or public utilities.
Preparation of local, state and federal permit applications.
Identifying and handling compliance with regulatory agencies.
Collaborating with design staff.
In order to be considered for our Transportation Engineer position, we are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
EIT certification preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of relatable experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
MicroStation and Civil 3D experience is preferred.
Candidates with additional years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards a plus.
