Job Summary

As the Global HR Investigations and L&E Operations Director, you will drive key workstreams in the Global L&E program. You are an employee relations and investigations subject matter expert and can develop and maintain global HR programs, can provide expert, principled, pragmatic, solution-focused and commercially relevant advice to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You must be a strategic enterprise level thinker with a global perspective. Must have a flexible-future oriented mind set ready to provide informed advice and risk assessments in the best interests of the enterprise and in the face of ambiguity and a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

* You will develop, deliver, and maintain a global investigation program for HR-related complaints including risk, governance, education, reporting and monitoring workflows. Stay abreast of HR compliance best practices and actively contribute to defining standards for the organization;
* Lead and conduct investigations, as necessary, with a best-in-class mindset, including cases with high reputational risk, as well as develop training and train a cadre of HR investigators on best investigation practices. Develop, maintain and execute KPIs for HR investigations globally;
* Interact with stakeholders to raise awareness of labor and employment trends, emerging issues, remedial actions or enhancement to the HR investigations program.
* Provide expert consultative and problem-solving services to human resources managers and managers regarding HR policies and practices. Effective at translating broader principles or the spirit of the guidelines / practices to the current situation and determine recommendation.
* Partner with the Human Resources manager and the business to perform root cause analysis and drive lasting corrective actions;
* Identify gaps or inefficiencies in process and contribute to projects aimed at streamlining processes;
* Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point on US employment laws, HR policies and processes. Create and develop training for HR on accommodations, leaves, reductions in force, discrimination, harassment, and other relevant HR policies and processes, as necessary;
* Assist with implementation and preparation of EEO-related reports to be submitted to applicable local, state and federal administrative agencies (including EEO-1, OFCCP, AAP, VETS and other similar reports) and track relevant deadlines to ensure compliance with agency requirements and submission obligations;
* Assist with review and analysis of supporting documentation for US reductions in force, restructures, and ad-hoc position eliminations;
* Assist in the creation and development and successful implementation of global HR policies and practices consistent with local laws and regulations. Actively project manage global L&E projects such as the building and maintenance of labor database, development and implementation of global performance improvement program, etc.;
* Any and all other duties that may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or certification preferred (J.D., or paralegal or SPHR certification)
* Ten years of progressive human resources experience; five years of specialized experience in employee relations, or prior labor and employment experience in a corporate legal department or law firm
* Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills
* Highly collaborative instincts, deftly leveraging highly credible expertise with ability to influence others by providing a clear perspective on multifaceted issues
* Ability to drive cross-functional projects with complex and global stakeholders across all levels of seniority
