WHO YOU ARE
The Software Test Lead will guide the implementation of our comprehensive test strategy aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of our deliverables. The Software Test Lead will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of best practices and standards to ensure the success of our testing efforts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Define and prioritize the recommended testing types for Dot Applications, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, and Security Testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the applicability of each testing type to specific projects and products based on predefined criteria
Establish and enforce guidelines for creating and approving Test Plans tailored to the testing needs, limitations, and success measures of each project and product
Ensure the documentation and execution of test cases for all types of testing, leveraging automation tools and frameworks where applicable
Oversee the management of test environments, including the setup of multiple test environments and the management of test data
Track and report on test execution results, system health, and defect tracking using established tools and processes
Collaborate with solution design review groups to create and approve Test Plans for major projects and applications/products
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on developing and implementing test strategies and methodologies
Strong understanding of various testing types
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Proficiency in tracking and reporting on test execution results, system health, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve testing goals and objectives
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are preferred but not required
